Simultaneousdeterminationofhalogens(F,Cl,Br,andI)incoalusingpyrohydrolysiscombinedwithionchromatography高温水解条件下利用离子色谱同时测定煤炭中的卤素(氟、氯、溴、碘)Monitoringthehalogenlevelsincoalisimportantbecauseoftheireffectsonhumanhealthandtheenvironment.Fewmethodscanbeadoptedtodeterminehalogensincoalsimultaneously.Fcanonlybedeterminedthroughionchromatography(IC)andionselectiveelectrode(ISE),whereasinstrumentalneutronactivationanalysis(INAA)andinductivelycoupledplasma-massspectrometry(ICP-MS)canonlyanalyzeCl,Br,andI[14].Sampledecompositionisacriticalstepinhalogenanalysis.Halogensarevolatileandreadilylostwhenthesampleistreated;furthermore,thereagentsusedforsampledigestionmayinterferewiththedeterminationprocessitself.Toeliminatethesedrawbacks,pyrohydrolysisandmicrowave-inducedcombustion(MIC)havebeenproveneffectiveandreliabledigestionmethodsfordetermininghalogensincoalandoil[29].MICcombinedwithIC,aroutineandclassicanalyticalmethodfordetermininghalogensinwater[10],hasbeensuccessfullyusedtodeterminehalogenssimultaneouslyincoal[4].However,about15%ofChinesecoalhaslessthan2.5lgg_1Brand75%havelessthan3.0lgg_1I.Therefore,thelimitsofdetections(LODs)forBrandI(2.5and3.0lgg_1,respectively)obtainedusingICcoupledwithMICisrelativelyhigh[4].TolowertheLODsofBrandIfurther,thepresentstudyestablishesaquantitativemethodfordeterminingF,Cl,Br,andIincoalusingtheICsystemafterpyrohydrolysis.Thepyrohydrolysisconditions,aswellthetypesandconcentrationsoftheabsorptionsolutionsareoptimized.Themethodisvalidatedusingcertifiedreferencecoals(forF)orspikes(forCl,Br,andI).
