Exosomesarenaturallyoccurringbiologicalnanovesiclesutilizedbytumorstocommunicatesignalstolocalandremotecellsandtissues.Melanomaexosomescaninciteaproangiogenicsigna领programcapableofremode领tissuematrices.Inthisstudy,weshowexosome-mediatedconditioningoflymphnodesanddefinemicroanatomicresponsesthatlicensemetastasisofmelanomacells.Homingofmelanomaexosomestosentinellymphnodesimposessynchronizedmolecularsignalsthateffectmelanomacellrecruitment,extracellularmatrixdeposition,andvascularproliferationinthelymphnodes.Ourfindingshighlightthepathophysiologicroleandmechanismsofanexosome-mediatedprocessofmicroanatomicnichepreparationthatfacilitateslymphaticmetastasisbycancercells.
