产品简介

Prolactin(PRL) is a neuroendocrine hormone secreted by the pituitary gland. Its primary function is to promote and maintain lactation during pregnancy and suckling. In addition, prolactin plays an immunoegulatory role by stimulating the activities of ornithine decarboxylase and protein kinase C, which are important for the proliferation, differentiation, and function of lymphocytes.

Source	Human Prolactin Protein is expressed from HEK293 without tag. It contains Leu29-Cys227.
Molecular Weight	The protein has a predicted 22.9 kDa
Form/Structure	Dimer in solution
Purity	> 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Biological Activity	Measured in a cell proliferation assay using Nb2-11 rat lymphoma cells. The EC50 for this effect is 5-14.8 pg/mL.
Endotoxin	< 0.01 EU per 1μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Formulation	Dissolved in sterile PBS buffer. This solution can be diluted into other aqueous buffers. Centrifuge the vial prior to opening.

储存条件

The product should be stored at -85~-65℃ for 1 year from date of receipt.

Recommend to aliquot the protein into smaller quantities when first used and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
