It is our great pleasure to invite you to attend and contribute to the 41st International Symposium on Halogenated Persistent Organic Pollutants (DIOXIN 2021 XI’AN) on August 22-25, 2021 at Xi’an Jianguo Hotel, Xi’an, China.

The conference will be held in a hybrid format with a 3-days duration, combining on-site events with an online platform for remote attendees. The streaming of live sessions online will ensure as many participations as possible in this year’s DIOXIN meeting. For those who will participate remotely, state-of-the-art broadcasting technologies will be implemented for an efficient attendance to the sessions. As the on-site meeting will take place in China (UTC +8), the meeting program will be constructed in a way to facilitate the participants from around the world.

Xi'an, the capital city of Shaanxi Province， is the oldest among Chinese Four Great Ancient Capitals, serving as the capital city of 13 dynasties spreading intermittently across a 1,100-year period from 221 BC. The city is often called the birthplace of Chinese civilization.
