Magnesium Oxide insulated thermocouples, commonly referred to as MgO thermocouples, are used in many process and laboratory applications. Many desirable characteristics make them an excellent choice for general and special purpose applications. They are available in all thermocouple element types, single or dual elements, a wide variety of sheath diameters / materials, rugged in nature, bendable, and have fairly high temperature ratings. The thermocouples listed are commonly used; however, Davis Inotek Instruments can provide many additional configurations beyond those listed.
