Digi-Sense Industrial Spring Loaded Thermocouple, Type J, Ungrounded, 6" L

Thermocouple Probes are ideal for use in industrial applications, chemical processes, production lines, ovens, furnaces, and vessels. The probes conductor is made of 18 gauge wire and is encased with Magnesium Oxide insulation, and has a 316 stainless steel sheath. Featuring a standard size aluminum protection head with a gasketed cap to seal out dust and moisture and houses a ceramic terminal block. Head has a 3/4" NPT(F) opening on the side for easy connection to electrical conduit.

Spring loaded probes: designed to bottom out when inserted in to a thermowell to produce an accurate reading. (Not designed for direct insertion in to medium)
Non-spring loaded probes: designed to be directly inserted into the medium being measured without the use of a thermowell.
