Irreversible temperature-indicating liquids offer an easy, cost-effective method to verify a specific temperature on a wide range of surfaces under dynamic conditions. Paints are available in 43 different temperature ratings from 175 to 1900°F (79 to 1038°C) with accuracy within ±1% of rated temperature. They are ideal for heat treating, preventive maintenance, and any other temperature-sensitive applications. When applied to a dry smooth surface, the liquid quickly dries and forms a dull and opaque film. The film melts at the designated temperature, leaving a distinctly different mark to confirm the target temperature has been achieved. Available in 2-oz (59-mL) bottles.
