P-CAP-DP expands the capabilities and is complimentary to P-CAP for normal phase separations (e.g., heptane-IPA/ethanol) of racemic compounds. The introduction of the π system, in combination with chiral hydrogen bonding capabilities, offers new opportunities for chiral selectivity. The additional bulk from the aromatic rings further enhances steric effects. P-CAP-DP can also be used in polar organic mode (e.g., acetonitrile/methanol).
