CSF1R also known as M-CSF receptor, the product of the c-fms proto-oncogene, is a member of the type III subfamily of receptor tyrosine kinases that also includes receptors for SCF and PDGF. These receptors each contain five immunoglobulin-like domains in their extracellular domain (ECD) and a split kinase domain in their intracellular region. The human M-CSF R ECD shares 60%, 64%, 72%, 75%, 75% and 76% aa identity with mouse, rat, bovine, canine, feline and equine M-CSF R, respectively. M-CSF R engagement is continuously required for macrophage survival and regulates lineage decisions and maturation of monocytes, macrophages, osteoclasts and DC. M-CSF R and integrin alpha v beta 3 share signaling pathways during osteoclastogenesis and deletion of either causes osteopetrosis. In the brain, microglia expressing increased M-CSF R are concentrated with Alzheimers a beta peptide, but their role in pathogenesis is unclear.

Dose response curve for Human M-CSF R, hFc Tag with the EC₅₀ of 12.4 ng/mL determined by ELISA. 2.SPR Data: Human M-CSF, His Tag captured on CM5 Chip via Anti-his Antibody can bind Human M-CSF R, hFc Tag with an affinity constant of 0.24 nM as determined in SPR assay (Biacore T200).
内毒素（Endotoxin）	< 1.0 EU per 1μg of the protein by the LAL method.
制剂（Formulation）	Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 5% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
复溶（Reconstitution）	Centrifuge tubes before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/mL` is recommended (usually we use 1mg/mL solution for lyophilization). Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.
