This unique electrophoresis mini-gel system is designed for high throughput: one large gel (12.5 x 12cm) with multiple combs accommodates up to 112 samples or choose to run two small gels (12.5 x 6 cm) or four micro gels† (6 x 6 cm) at the same time. Everything you need to cast and run horizontal gels is supplied—including gel trays, combs, casting stand, gel tank, and digital power supply.

Power supply connects directly to the migration tank and can be set to either constant voltage or current, with automatic crossover between the two units. Digital timer controls operation from 0 to 99 hours or operate continuously. At the conclusion of a timed run, power to the electrodes is automatically shut off and an audible alert notifies the user that the run is finished. Untimed runs and manual power shutoff may also be performed. The last-used voltage and timer settings are held in memory for quick recall on repetitive runs. Lid interlock prevents power supply from operating if cover is removed or improperly closed.

The UV transparent tank and gel trays are molded for durability and leakproof performance. Electrode cassettes offer protection for fragile electrodes, providing long-lasting life and allowing for easy replacement. Lid carries condensation away from center of the tank. The easily detachable power supply can be removed for thorough cleaning of the gel tank.
