The Labconco® RapidVap® vacuum dry evaporation system is the alternative way to traditional centrifugal evaporation methods. Faster evaporation rates are achieved through vortex action, heat, and vacuum. Heat comes directly from a 1000-watt dry block, which adds no potential source of contamination and requires no maintenance.

Microprocessor-controlled motor provides smooth variable speed of up to 1000 rpm. PTFE-coated chamber ensures that your system is protected against aggressive chemicals and harsh applications. All mechanical components are isolated from inert fumes to prolong the life of your unit.

Control the time, speed, and temperature via the easy-to-use keyboard or RS-232 communication. Up to nine programs can be set and altered while in progress. The easy-to-read LCD allows you to monitor conditions while a program is in progress. The RS-232 port is at the back of the unit for 2-way communication.

Optional lid heater provides an additional 40-watt heater to improve visibility. Heating the lid eliminates condensation caused by high boiling point solvents.
