Epi-fluorescent microscope is designed for use with specimens that self fluoresce, or that use a fluorescent dye to bring out particular properties of the specimen. Ideal for use in cell biology and laboratory research. Modular six-position epi-fluorescent illuminator features six blank positions for filter cubes; basic blue, green, and UV-excitation filter sets mounted in filter cubes are included. Lamp house uses a 100 W mercury arc lamp.

Microscope features include siedentopf head for adjustability, diopter adjustment on one eyepiece, ceramic-coated stage, Abbe condenser with adjustable field iris, bottom halogen illumination for transmitted light use, and ergonomically placed focus controls.
