Objective turret is ball-bearing mounted for smooth magnification changes; reverse mounting allows easy access to specimens and stage.

Rechargeable NiMH batteries allow you to use this microscope in the field or where conventional power isn't convenient. Included recharger shuts off when batteries are fully charged, eliminating overcharging that can shorten battery life. Microscopes can be used during recharging, or recharger can be used as a power cord for 115 VAC operation.

Microscope features coarse and fine adjustments, widefield 10x eyepieces with pointer, 4-3/4" x 4-3/4" (121 x 121 mm) stage with specimen holder, and Abbe condenser with iris diaphragm.
