The Economical Monocular Microscope features a wide field 10x eyepiece with pointer and a four-hole objective turret that is ball-bearing mounted for smooth, precise changes in magnification. The reverse position design and 45° angled eyepiece provides comfortable viewing with the ability for fast and easy slide changes.
Microscope has rack-and-pinion coarse focus with slip clutch to protect focus mechanism, and separate fine focus. The tension adjustment eliminates focus drift. The rugged frame is made of cast aluminum with a gray finish; base measures 160 mm W x 220 mm D.
Microscope features a large stage with a low-profile mechanical specimen holder and a low-position coaxial X-Y controls. Microscope comes with a 100x oil immersion objectives, an Abbe 1.25 N.A. condenser, spiral focusing mount, with iris diaphragm, swing-out filter holder, and blue filter. The focusing mechanism features a safety rack-stop to prevent damage to specimen slides and lenses.
