Economical heavy-duty support base are made with a cast iron base and the rods made of either 303 stainless steel or aluminum. Stand features a corrosion-resistant, electro polished cast iron base. All bases feature a built-in support rod holder with locking knob that accepts 0.51” (1.3 cm) diameter support rod. Support bases and rods are each sold separately.

Rectangular bases are a heavier alternative of the support bases. The sample will sit on the base which adds additional mass for added stability and a durable work surface.
