Both the Graham and Liebig condensers are manufactured from high-quality 3.3 borosilicate glass and feature a 24/40 flask joints with a screw thread connector. It also includes a condenser tube and two 1/4" hose nozzles, one for water in and one for water out.

Both condenser types feature an inner tube which contains the distillation sample and an outer tube for the coolant, or water. The water cools hot vapors within the inner tube to transfer the gaseous vapors to a liquid phase for condensation.

The Liebig condenser has a straight inner tube which is better suited for basic laboratory applications, or applications in which the substance could easily get clogged inside the inner tube.

The Graham condenser has a coiled inner tube, providing more surface area to cool more of your distillation substance at a time.
