Lipophilicity Profiles: Theory and Measurement

Lipophilicity represents the affinity of a molecule or moiety for a lipophilicenvironment. It is commonly measured by its distribution behavior in abiphasic system, either liquid-liquid (e.g.,partition coefficient in octanol/water) or by chromatographic methods [1].
