Using a pack medium. the authors have established time/temperature parameters to produce different coating thicknesses on steels with. range of carbon contents and h.ve determined friction .nd wear char.cteristics of treated Samples under dry conditions. Boronising inhibits adhesive wear during running-in and suppresses the transition from mild to severear.
