The auto-ignition of a pulsed methane jet in the hot exhaust gas of a hydrogen/air flat flame and the following flame
kernel development have been studied with high-speed laser and imaging techniques. The downstream location of
the auto-ignition and the ignition time were determined with OH* chemiluminescence, as well as the lift-off height
of the stably burning jet flame. Further details of the ignition were characterized by using simultaneous planar laserinduced
fluorescence of OH. A third camera, looking at the jet from a different viewing angle was used to gain
three-dimensional information about the ignition kernel location. PLIF平面激光诱导荧光火焰燃烧检测系统
