The touchscreen power supply (28407-53 and -54) features a dual orientation auto-rotating display, for increased versatility when lab space is limited. During an electrophoresis run, this power supply will attempt to maintain a constant voltage or amperage setting, depending on which parameter is required. If the non-constant parameter is met due to the resistance of the load, the power supply will automatically “cross-over” so the non-constant parameter is now constant. This unit features no load detection as well as a max power limit features to enhance the safety of the power supply while in use. Users can select from constant voltage or constant amperage settings. There are four pairs of output terminals, wired in parallel. The output voltage range of these power supplies is 10 to 300 VDC in 5 V increments with an output current range of 5 to 400 mA, in 5 mA increments.
