This complete horizontal mini electrophoresis system includes everything needed to get up and running. The system is designed for separating nucleic acids in agarose gel. Selectable parameters include three preset voltages – 35, 50, and 100V, as well as a timer that has a range of 0 to 99 minutes or for continuous use. The safety lid is vented to dissipate heat during the electrophoresis process. The current will only run through the system when the lid is properly in place.
The gel trays feature a dark contrast strip to help visualize wells while loading. In addition, the lines fluoresce under UV and blue light to help track the progress of the sample during the run.
