Clean up biological fluid samples, especially plasma, using TELOS PPT protein precipitation columns. Complete protein precipitation process takes place in the column—no offline liquid handling and centrifugation steps are required. Specially designed double frits provide fast and trouble-free protein precipitation. One frit holds up the precipitation solvent, acetonitrile, while the other frit with larger porosity prevents blocking, allowing reproducible collection of the subsequent filtrate.

Dispense sample directly into the acetonitrile with force to achieve reproducible precipitation from sample to sample. The optimum ratio of acetonitrile to plasma is 4:1 v/v. This ensures complete precipitation occurs and the filtrate is precipitate free.
