The Fluke 1000 FLT fluorescent light tester performs five essential lighting tests that include lamp, ballast, noncontact voltage, pin continuity, and ballast-type all in under 30 seconds quickly pinpointing bulb and ballast problems. Simply touch the fluorescent light and/or ballast to easily determine if there is gas in the bulb, the ballast type (electronic or magnetic), or if there is output voltage from the ballast. Unit features bright indicator lights and audible alerts and includes an extendable rugged metal test rod allowing you to easily reach bulb and ballasts in elevated locations. The compact, rugged tester is designed to withstand drops from 6 ft (2 m) making it ideal for challenging environments.
