LangmuirBlodgett Films

In the 1980s, there was great enthusiasm about molecular assemblies based on LangmuirBlodgett (LB) films. Visions were proposed for the next millennium such as Molecular electronics in which organic molecules perform an active function in the processing of information and in transmission and storage (13).
