In the light of the recent developments in functional proteomics the cell environment is emerging as a complex network of interacting biomolecules. We are presenting a tool based on the integration of two well established techniques, surface plasmon resonance (SPR) and mass spectrometry (MS) which can be used in functional proteomics for ligand fishing or studying novel biomolecular interactions and macromolecular complexes.
