Abrasion Testing Equipment for Mechanical Seal Summary and Testing Purpose The purpose of this testing equipment is to evaluate the abrasive characteristics of mechanical seal components. This testing equipment roughly simulates the real situation of mechanical seal and tests the sliding/frictional characteristics of mechanical seal. The Equipment is composed of testing unit, actuator, and load mechanism for axial force. Also, water-feeding unit conveys water to testing unit and testing controller carries out testing and control.
